I think this is just about the only comment here worth reading. It’s mind boggling how quickly the average sapien is to attempt to replace health, happiness, and friendships with money. There is absolutely no way any of those three points can be replaced by anything; let alone something that inherently breeds and/or inflames the tendencies toward unhealthy lifestyles, loneliness, and enemies.

Money is not the root of all evil, the abuse of money is. And what better way to find yourself in a situation where you begin thinking of ways to abuse it than to have ample amounts of it at your disposal?

The only way to survive wealth and keep your proverbial ‘soul’ intact (your internal inclination for moral action, if you will); is to continually and stringently practice each equally, and practice balancing them as if they were each a necessary pillar for success.
